CASTINGS - Lagun milling machines use a special high-strength gray cast iron produced by the Meehanite process and who's physical and chemical properties provide low damping capacity, high modulus of elasticity, and excellent wear characteristics. These castings are produced in accordance with ASTM A-4874 specifications with the material ranging from A-4874-40 to A-7874-45.
