Spindle Guards For Vertical & Horizintal Mills

Spindle Guards Protect The Operator When The Mill Is Performing Machining Operations. Material Used Is Polycarbonate Plastic. The Guard consist of two polycarbonate shields (A) mounted on a sliding shaft (C), and a microswitch (D). The Mill will not start unless the safety guard is in the correct (closed) position, covering the spindle. When the required work has done, or when a tool needs to be changed, swiveling the guard to the left presses-in the microswitch and the machine stops (motors are deactivated). To continue milling, move the shield back to its correct position and press the start button.
