PRECISION AND PRODUCTIVITY - GT 32 Gang Tool Lathe
Republic-Lagun
Machine Tool Company introduces a new high speed, gang tooling,
precision CNC lathe that combines rigid construction with
precision and speed. Named the GT-32, this lathe raises the
bar for the ordinary light duty lathes. Using a ribbed cast
iron base, an extra-wide bed, hardened and ground ways, the
lathe offers exceptional rigidity for close tolerance machining.
The
GT-32 provides a maximum workpiece length of 7.87 inches and
bar capacity of 1.250 inches. The spindle drive is 5 HP (3kW)
with a spindle speed range of 150-5000 rpm. A large 7”
x 16” gang tooling plate accommodates 5/8” capacity
tool holders.
The
machines versatility is achieved by using a Fanuc™ Oi-t,
2 axis CNC system. Minimum operator training is required using
this standard control. Also featured are over-sized precision
preloaded ball screws and a super precision spindle with double
row P4 angular contact ball bearings.
