Spindle
Guards protect the operator when the mill is performing
machining operations
Material
used is poly carbonate plastic.The guards consist of two
poly carbonate shields :
(A) mounted on a sliding shaft
(C), and a micro switch
(D). The mill will not start unless the safety guard is
in the correct (closed) position, covering the spindle.
When the required work has been done, or when a tool needs
to be changed,swiveling the guard to the left presses-in
the micro switch and the machine stops (motors are deactivated).
To continue milling, move the shield back to it's correct
position and press the start button.
